There is also an opportunity for additional funding for a second quarter for those students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Ten scholarships will be offered this year.

Please let me know if you have questions or you can go to the Transition Center in 19-103 for more details.

A few students asked for some Thanksgiving recipes. I haven't tried any of these exact recipes myself, but here are some of the most traditional Thanksgiving dishes. Enjoy!

Snow this week?

It looks like it may snow tomorrow. Please see this forecast.

If it snows, I'll e-mail you through Angel, or you can check at schoolreport.org.

Earthquake Preparation

We talked in class about how to prepare for earthquakes. Here is a link to some resources: http://www.govlink.org/3days3ways/buildakit.html

It is always important to be ready because you never know when an earthquake will strike. See what happened in New Zealand yesterday: http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/02/22/new.zealand.earthquake/index.html
